Welcome to the

State of Florida Society
United States Daughters of 1812

Welcome to the beautiful state of Florida!

Our organization, National Society United States Daughters of 1812, was founded in 1892. We are a non-profit, non-political, women’s service organization for descendants of patriot ancestors who aided the American cause during the War of 1812. We are headquartered in Washington, D.C. For more than a century, the members of the National Society United States Daughters of 1812, have dedicated themselves to patriotism, preservation of documents and relics, and education.

The War of 1812 is often overlooked, but it was our
FIRST war as a country, and our
SECOND war for Independence.

Honor the patriot ancestors in your family who aided our country in the second struggle for independence! If you know your family history and genealogy, you may want to search our Ancestor Database (click the Search Ancestors button below). The Florida State President is delighted to correspond or speak with you about membership. Please contact her at onetonbase@cox.net! We look forward to hearing from you!
